Flowing Forest x Taipei 101
2019
101 Symphonies of Water and Life
Water is the source of life. The distribution of waterways contributes to the diversity of the bio system. Where water flows by, various landforms, biological systems and civilizations originate. Be it clouds, oceans, morning dew or rivers, they are merely different forms of water. The same elements but with various faces. A Forest of Water Sound is inspired by this concept and thus combines the elements of action, sound, light and music, to interpret the various appearances of water.
The 101 sets of crystal bells resemble drops of water and chime with the flow of light, intriguing the viewers’ sensation and imagination of water. The artwork combines technology and art, to add a novel crystal yet tender feel to the most significant landmark in Taiwan.
