Telling Tent

2016

In 2016, noiseKitchen Art Co., Ltd. invited Telling Tent Co., Ltd to co-produce the “Moving Tent” show at Life Hub@Anting in Shanghai. Reflecting the layout of the shopping mall, we created a tailored onion-shaped tent, and also re-designed the surrounding projection space within. From September to December 2016, five magnificent animation shows were played in turn at this shopping mall.

“Moving Tent: Stereo Surrounding Interactive Theater” features an immersive circular animation. As the actor tells fairytales, special effects indicate earthquakes, lightening and smoke as the story unfolds. Consequently, besides the development of the story, the audience not only experiences the visual and audio effects of the theatrical animation, but they also have the sensational experiences of smell and touch. We hope to create an ever-changing world full of extravagant imagination. This lively, creative, fantastical world allows both the adults and children who enter this space to have a magical experience never experienced before.
